How to carry out this lesson at home:

To play this game one needs the snakes and ladders board game, dice and small markers. Each child has to have a marker which this will represent him/her on the snakes and ladders board game. They have to roll a dice and they can enter the game by getting a six. After such entrance, each player takes it in turns to roll the dice and whatever number they get, they move their respective marker on the board. If they stop at the foot of a ladder, they go up this ladder. However, if they stop on the head of a snake, they go down this snake and immediately afterwards they have to perform a physical task which all players would have agreed before hand.
There are several physical tasks one can perform, enjoy yourself and be active at the same time. A short video accompanies this lesson on how to play and also build your own broad game and dice. There are also some ideas on physical tasks.
