Resources required:
Use paper, a pencil and some coloured pencils/pens, you may wish to print slide 4, playdough, cardboard, paint, scissors, computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone.
Description of investigation:
1. Research about an unusual animal – the platypus. You may use the two links on the right.
2. Watch a third clip to get an idea what features you have to think of when creating your creature.
3. Print the attachment start designing your creature.
4. Choose your preferred resources to create your creature. Your mythical creature can be :
drawn, crafted with cardboard, built with Lego (or any other plastic bricks), crafted in playdough (or similar products), designed on a digital device (such as: computer, tablet, etc), painted or as a collage.
